Dr. Benjamin Woo, D.M.D. & Owner

Dr. Benjamin Woo graduated from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine with a degree in dental medicine (D.M.D.). Dr. Woo has established a private practice in Newmarket, Ontario for over 13 years.

Dr. Woo feels that continued education is the only way to expand and improve knowledge in order to provide the best dental care. Dr. Woo and his staff have a passion to provide quality dentistry in a comfortable caring environment which includes full cosmetic reconstruction to the simplest restorations.

Dr. Woo lives locally with his wife Lucy and his two children. As a competitive professional tennis player Dr. Woo knows the importance of good health, both body and mouth.

Dr. Jason Adinata, D.D.S.

Associate Dentist

Dr. Jason  Adinata is a graduate of University of Toronto and has continued his education at the University of Rochester taking Advanced Education in General Dentistry.  He provides excellent care to our patients.  As with our team, he exemplifies the same values with patient care comes first’ attitude.  

Dr. Jason Adinata has a high emphasis on family values and is an avid volleyball player.  With the exciting upcoming transition in our office we pride ourselves on the quality care of our patients and value your confidence and trust in us.

Dr. Cameron Chiang, D.D.S.

Associate Dentist

Dr. Cameron Chiang graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree in 2018.  He remains up to date with current dental practices via Spear Education: Innovative Dental Continuing Education and is a member of the Ontario Dental Association.

Dr. Chiang believes in providing the highest level of dental care, while recognizing that different patients have different desires for their oral health. With his passion for dentistry he has travelled to South East Asia to provide dental treatment for children in orphanages and inmates in rural communities. He strives to provide dentistry in a professional and thorough manner, while being gentle and compassionate.

Besides doing dentistry he is a tennis player who has competed on a professional level and he has reached a high of #1 in Canada. He also played for the Canadian Junior Davis Cup team and is a proud alumni of the Washington University St. Louis Bears.

Dr. Joseph Vasquez, D.M.D.

Associate Dentist

Dr. Joseph Vasquez graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. As a clinician, he is able to create a comfortable and friendly environment that allows him to work alongside his patients to maneuver towards a common goal.  

One of his greatest passions is serving others. He has participated in mission trips that have built Community Centre's in Mexico, and Community Outreach Programs providing dental care to under served communities in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Because of this passion, he strives to learn as much as he can and keep up to date with dental practices in order to provide high quality service. 

Apart from dentistry, Dr. Vasquez thoroughly enjoys staying active and making and listening to music. He loves to exercise and play basketball, and has been playing the drums since the the age of two. If you can’t find him in the dental office, there’s a good chance you’ll find him in the gym or on the dance floor!


Office Manager, Certified Dental Assistant

Christine Mansell is Woo Dental’s Office Manager for the past 8 years. She graduated from the Dental Assisting Program in 1996. Following her schooling, she developed a passion towards the administrative area of the dental field.  Her leadership skills and drive has excelled her to become the Dental Office Manager at every practice she has worked in.   Having been employed at only four practices throughout her entire career, she has worked straight through stopping briefly to raise her four boys only to immediately return to work after each maternity leave.  Her dedication and commitment along with the attentiveness with which she guides our Woo Dental Team and its’ clientele is essential to taking our practice to a new level of service and care.

Christine is a proud mother of her four boys ranging in age from 8 - 22 years.  She spends most of her spare time enjoying the company of her family making sure she doesn’t miss their prime years and being a positive influence and motivating figure to her family as well as with those around her.  She also enjoys her dog Sadie who she rescued from a shelter January 2017 and playfully attempting to teach her who’s boss at home.


Dental Hygienist

Mary Ann has been passionately involved in the dental profession since the early 1990's. She began her career as a Level II Dental assistant for 13 years, has studied nursing at Humber College for 2 1/2 years nearly obtaining her registered nursing diploma before deciding that the dental field was her true calling. Mary Ann returned to school to pursue her dream of becoming a registered dental hygienist and graduated in 2005. She has since been working with Dr. Benjamin Woo at Woo Dental shortly after graduating and having worked at various dental offices throughout the greater Toronto area. Mary Ann is the longest standing dental hygienist at Woo Dental where she has established an excellent rapport over the years with the staff and patients alike. Mary Ann constantly and consistently strives to provide the best possible care and service to her patients as she considers them to be an extension of her own family. 

 Mary Ann lives locally in Newmarket with her family. She has a 26-year-old son currently studying to become a doctor of dentistry and a 20-year-old daughter who aspires to be in the healthcare industry as well. When not working to improve her patients’smiles, overall health and well-being, Mary Ann loves to cook, exercise, travel, and spend time with family, friends and her puppy Loki.

Jenn Pascual

Dental Hygienist

Jenn is one of our very talented dental hygienists. Since childhood, Jenn imagined working in a field that combined the values of personalized care, health education, and simply making people smile.

After completing her Bachelor of Science degree at McMaster University, she immersed herself in the realm of Dental Hygiene at George Brown College, graduating with Honours in 2007.

Since then, she has sustained her passion for providing comfortable quality care to all patients - attentive to every concern, and anxiety level - and strives to help each person achieve a healthier mouth and confident smile.

As part of the Woo Dental team, she keeps on top of the latest treatment for periodontal disease, through courses and continuous training, including certification in non-invasive gingival laser therapy treatment. 

When she's not fighting gingivitis, you'll find Jenn swapping healthy recipe ideas; hitting big-boy weights at the gym; or finding new adventures to travel to near or far.


Certified Dental Assistant Level II

Heather Hansen is one of our wonderful Certified Dental Assistants. She graduated from the Dental Assisting Program from S.A.I.T. College in Calgary, Alberta in 1974 and has been working as a Certified Dental Assistant ever since. She has received additional training as a Level II which includes extensive intra-oral duties.

Heather has been with our office since it’s inception! She has been Dr. Woo’s head Dental Assistant since 2004 and has over 31 years experience in her field. She briefly took time away to raise her 2 daughters and son. Because of her wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise, she is always able to put our patients at ease – before, during, and after their appointment. Her special care with patients makes her an invaluable member of the Woo Team.

Heather and her husband are active members of  the A.L.S. Society and help to raise funds for them on an ongoing basis. Heather’s other interests include spending time with her family and friends, reading books, listening to music, travelling, and of course taking her 2 mischievous beagles for leisurely walks. 


Certified Dental Assistant, Level II

Ileana completed her Certified Dental Assistant Level II accreditation at CDA College and has 15 years' experience in her field. Ileana's patients benefit from both her exceptional kowledge base and her unparalleled confidence. 

She is committed to ensuring every patient achieves optimal oral health and believes in "The opportunity to help restore a person's dentition so he or she can enjoy food again. To have a beautiful smile is priceless."

Ileana is bilingual which allows our spanish speaking patients to have the comfort of knowing that they are cared for and understood. Her enthusiastic personality and warm demeaner is a very welcome addition to our clinical team.

When Ileana is not in the office, she enjoys travelling, watching romance movies, and especially dancing and listening to latin music.

Dental Treatment Coordinator, Certified Dental Assistant Level 1, Health and Safety Committee Member

Linda is our Dental Treatment Coordinator. She has 22+ years experience in the dental field. She began her career as a Certified Dental Assistant  graduating from George Brown College with honours at 19 yrs of age and continued for 10 years in her field before changing careers and going into Human Resources and Administrative Assisting in the non-profit sector. Her experience and passion for the field of dentistry combined with her love of meeting new people and friendly outgoing manner has driven her back to dentistry and into Dental Administration and Treatment Coordination. She enjoys being part of the Health and Safety Initiative for the office and does most of the treatment planning for our Soft Tissue Management Program as she has a keen interest in the Oral Systemic Link that occurs between the oral cavity and systemic diseases.

When she is not in the office, Linda’s time is spent in Stouffville running after her American Eskimo Charlie or her 8 year old daughter Sofia. She (along with her husband) considers herself an avid foodie and loves Asian and South American food and is a wine and cheese enthusiast as well.
